"Come follow me, Jesus said, and I will make you fishers of people"  Mark 1:17.

The youth at Grace have made their goals for the upcoming year to reach out to our community and seek to understand what it truly means to "follow Christ."  We also seek to carry out the Grace UMC community ideas of believing, belonging, and becoming. Get Hooked!

Sunday Mornings 9:40 a.m. -

The Amazing Bible Race is a scavenger hunt through the Bible.

Comprised of multiple legs, this race will take the youth through the

entire Bible throughout the course of two years. The Amazing Bible Race

encourages students to engage the Bible on their own study time and

with a small group. Throughout the course there are interactive elements

such as writing and performing skits and thinking of new ways to be

in missions and carrying out those ideas. Once a week, during the Sunday School time,

the different classes or teams, will come together to check on progress and

work through one lesson as a group.

Sunday Night Live - On Sunday evenings from 5-7:00 all youth gather together for a time of worship and fellowship.  We begin with worship in a large group and then experience games, food, and devotion's in age appropriate groups. Our time on Sunday is geared for community building.  We are active in district activities which include Encounter worship, Ooze Fest, and 30hr. Famine.

Wednesday Evening Covenant Groups - These groups meet to encourage each other as they live their faith in their every day life. There are particular emphases on personal Bible study, prayer, and decision making. The groups are divided by age: 6-8 grades, 9-10, and 11-12. The groups meet from 6:15-7:30.

Mom’s Bible Study - meets each Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. This support group is for moms who want to join with other moms, in a more structured atmosphere, to grow spiritually.  Meeting in Rm C-8
